Auto Sub Sync is an automatic subtitle synchronization tool. It recognizes the words spoken in the audio track using speech recognition libraries, and try to synchronize the existing erroneous subtitle track with the audio track.

Auto Sub Sync core is written using java, and uses shell script to start. There is also an extension for the VLC media player. It calls the main shell script with the parameters taken from VLC input.
