Update outdated npm dependencies, publish first major release of the library

• Tag first major release
• Update NPM dependencies using npm update
• Add npmrc for save-prefix as ~
• Update package.json to use ~ prefix for all dependencies
• Fix lint issues in slack.spec.ts unit tests
