Question about the XML timecode

First, I want to say that this program is fantastic and really helpful! But I have a question about the XML it generates using the "Export Sync XML..." option. The offsets are in this format:
offset="0:00:00:00.0000000".

Could you clarify what units each part represents? For example, in 1:45:20:36.5979681:

1 → days

45 → hours

20 → minutes

36 → seconds

0.5979681 → fractional seconds

Does each part correspond exactly to these units, or is there another interpretation?
