Asynchronous Reply Possible #14

I have this up and running on my test site, and have been playing with prompts and knowledge bases. Awesome work, thank you! When I invoke the model (GPT-5.1), the forum hangs until the model posts a reply. Sometimes that takes 10 seconds or more. Is there a setting (or hack) that would allow the extension to return to the forum while the model prepares and posts its answer, so that the forum isn't left hanging/frozen for an indefinite time like that?
