[Question] How to retrieve the token once the user is logged through Oauth?

I login with popup, but the user data isn't coming with the token like the firebase doc says. What I am missing here?

I do this in my app and I am able to retrieve the user data:

@MaicolBen You're right. I see a uid in providerData but no token.

@MaicolBen You should be able to find token in the props.auth object
You will need to use firebaseConnect to add it to your props. Something like this:

@MaicolBen sorry, I'm not sure how to get the token. I do see 'refreshToken' in the 'props.auth' object. I'm using google sign-in and I haven't had to keep track of the token to reestablish login. I just call the login method on app startup and it has cached the token somewhere for firebase google auth.

Thanks, but it isn't the same, I can see in auth.js that they aren't taking the token like the documentation says

You can use firebase.auth().getToken() :

this.firebase.auth().getToken()

or if you are passing auth:

I do agree that if it is passed back in the Firebase docs, it should be passed back with the login function as well. The change might have to wait until the release of v1.4.0 since it will change the result of that call.

@prescottprue Thanks, but that returns an object that contains the JWT token, not the Oauth one

@MaicolBen v1.4.0.beta.4 has a change that should fix this for you (future v1.4.0 versions will as well). Now credential and user are returned along with the profile on login:

onRedirectResult config option was also added encase you are using redirect (popup is still suggested):
