Add an "all ruleset" button

I suggest having a all modes button, where in osu!direct, it will show all gamemodes and in song select, it will show all diffs regardless of mode

in song select, the osu!standard mode will lead to osu!standard gameplay, all other modes will leads to the respective mode gameplay

Sounds like a good thing to have. Please ask for a design if you are going to attempt to implement this.

Maybe could be implemented as "modes=*c,*t,*m,*o" would allow this feature without needing another button to clog up the UI (would also probably be the best implementation, as most likely the players using this would just want to play the keyed modes without standard maps in the mix)

I think it could be implemented by turning the ruleset buttons into toggles that can be turned off when clicked. So when none of the buttons are turned on it will show all diffs as described here.

That looks like it would result in horrible UX. So to switch from one ruleset to another, I have to "turn off" the first ruleset and "turn on" the second ruleset?

I guess using the word "toggle" might have made it worse to understand, sorry. What I was trying to say is that the ruleset buttons could be turned off to disable the beatmap filtering, but it would only allow one button to be enabled at a time, and turning on another ruleset button would automatically turn off the other one, as it is now. (I guess I forgot to mention this last part)
For now, my main concern with this way of implementing is that it may not be obvious enough to the user as just having an extra button specific to "all rulesets".
