If you're on a map's information page looking at the global / country / friend ranking scoreboards, you may often want to look at, say, friend scoreboards for multiple difficulties on a beatmapset. As it is right now, you'd need to re-select the friend scoreboard every single time you select a different difficulty.
It would be an improvement in convenience if (while remaining on the same map page), that your last selected scoreboard type would be remembered while selecting different difficulties, so that doing this doesn't require constantly changing it to the scoreboard type you're wanting to look at.
