Allow players to wipe their profiles

Given that osu! is soon entering a new era with the introduction of lazer and all that comes with it, the ability (paid or otherwise) to wipe one's profile statistics would be nice. The wiki has stated for at least six years that including such an option has been considered, and I think now would be a good time for that to be made available. Maintaining profile history (perhaps in the form of a snapshot of the account at time of reset) would be a nice bonus, especially for players who wish to start fresh but have a legacy others are invested in.

i think with the legacy section leaderboard you are in should be shown as {username}legacy{snapshot_id} so that scores aren't eraced

I think it's worth exploring why people would want to reset their accounts and see if there's any less nuclear alternative to this. I have heard before of people who want to reset their stats to "start over" with a new playstyle or after a long break etc, but I believe that could be addressed by adding new views to filter scores on the account, for example, instead of making them harder to access.

regardless of how this is done it's almost certainly going to be a large dev effort, for what is a relatively unpopular request, so I don't know if it will ever happen.
