After inspecting the Info.plist in Positron installations on macOS, the product version information needs to be updated for at least the following fields:

  CFBundleVersion = "1.96.0";
  CFBundleShortVersionString = "1.96.0";

These should reflect the Positron version, such as "2025.03.0-97" and "2025.03.0"
