Black Screen During Installation on Debian 12 GNOME 43.9

I got a black screen when installing the master_jammy branch on my Debian 12 (GNOME 43.9).

Steps to reproduce:

1. cd shell
2. git checkout master_jammy
3. make local-install
4. The screen turns completely black with no error messages.
