Touchpad is requiring three fingers on two finger gestures

I recently disconnected my laptop from my desktop setup and noticed on 20.04lts that my touchpad gestures changed.

Previously scrolling up and down only required two fingers to do so. Now it suddenly requires three to do that same action. I looked in the settings and when I disable the two-finger scrolling it of course disables this functionality in totality.

I also noticed that right clicks no require three fingers as well. My first suspicion is that I installed something that messed with this. My first guess was KDE Plasma, but I have since run timeshift to roll back before I installed KDE and the issue persists.

Happy to try out any possible solutions or gather additional information that could be helpful.

Well, it's weirdly now working as expected, so I'm going to close this out. I have no idea why it temporarily swapped as it did, but I'll take it working correctly again!
