This PR fixes an issue that makes keyboard events fire twice when listening through a subscription introduced in the last commit. f7dc180
Keep in mind I still don't fully understand winit's codebase and I basically added back what seemed relevant to my issue after looking at the aforementioned commit. So if this may introduce other side effects that I don't know about feel free to reject the PR...
