[Bug] Weird bug opening videos in flatpak VLC

Steps:

1. Play a video in VLC (Flathub version) from cosmic files or the command line
2. It plays as expected
3. Close that video
4. Play a second video the same way
5. That video takes a long time to open, and then opens without visible video controls. The behavior seems inconsistent. Sometimes it doesn't open the second video at all until you try to open a third video. Also, sometimes when you close out of the second video, it keeps playing sound even though the window is no longer open.

I am on a lemp10 machine (Intel Iris Xe GPU) with popdev:master. VLC works fine in a regular Pop session.

+1 for me. The VLC window is black with the playback controls, but there is a second window that appears with the video and no other controls. Dell Rugged Extreme 7424
