The Firefox addon causes audio and video to become out of sync on some websites.

While watching a game streamer's livestream on douyu.com, I noticed that enabling the Firefox addon causes the audio to appear 1-2 seconds ahead of the video. Disabling the extension resolves this issue.

I haven't found any other websites affected.

Could you please help me identify the cause?

Hello! This is a known issue with Firefox when speeding up videos in general. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1955841

What seems to work is occasionally seeking the video. E.g. go 5 seconds backwards once in a while.

I didn't speed up the video, since I was watching a live stream, I was playing it at 1x speed, yet the issue still occurred.

On the other hand, this issue does not occur when using this Tampermonkey script: https://github.com/xxxily/h5player , maybe there is a way to fix this issue?
