Can you add an option to adjust the volume of the sound effect?

At the moment the volume of the sound effect is the same as the volume of my Mac. I usually don't like loud sound effects so I need to turn my Mac's volume down before I start typing. But when I want to watch youtube or something, I have to turn the volume back up! So can you add a slider or something to adjust only the volume of the sound effect but not the master volume?
