# Belchertown weewx skin

# DarkSky has announced that they are shutting down public access. You can use Aeris Weather with the [development version of the skin](https://github.com/poblabs/weewx-belchertown/tree/development).

* The rest of the options can be found below in the [Forecast Options](#forecast-options) table.

### DarkSky API (optional, no longer accepting new applications)
**DarkSky has been shut down, but if you still have an API key, you can continue using it until DarkSky shuts your API key down.**

### Forecast Units
Aeris Weather provides all units in 1 API call which is great but the skin still needs a way to determine what units you want it to show. This is why I've decided to keep the Dark Sky unit method so you can determine which units you'd like Aeris Weather to show. **All of the unit determination is now being done within the skin, not the API.**
