IndexError: List index out of range

On line one when it read import nctoolkit as nc, I get this error:

Exception has occurred: IndexError
list index out of range
File "/Users/daniel/Documents/GEG/CPG/Geospatial Analysis/cpg_gis.py", line 1, in
import nctoolkit as nc
IndexError: list index out of range

I imagine it might be a dependency issue, but the error is confusing. Have you seen this before? Any idea what it could be?

I'm running the code on VS Code on MacOS

Do you have the full trace back? It’s hard to fully diagnose the problem without knowing the line that threw the error. My guess though is that CDO is not installed, which can cause this issue.

It seems to be a dependency issue. I've done a pip forced update and reinstall of nctoolkit and it seems to have done the trick.
