Game sometimes sped up after loading into a map #61

What happened?

I loaded into a match, the game was sped up for a few seconds, I ended up dying before I got the "Round 1" text on my screen. This has happened to me multiple times in the past month, both on modded and unmodded games and sometimes it's happened multiple times in a row.
timescale never switched to anything above it's default value (1), however disabling com_busyWait seemed to stop this from happening.

Expected result

Gameplay to be normal speed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have com_busyWait enabled
  2. Load into a map, TranZit for example
  3. Repeat until the game appears to be sped up when the player spawns in
