Consideration for our large(r) datasets instead of (a couple) of the spot-checks.

We already have mock_smile_adam in test_diagnostics for snapshots, we could expand a bit (though as the fixtures are still consumed this also implies data duplication in the repository. This is a food for thought issue

Isn't this a pw-beta/Core Plugwise issue?

I don't see how changing the backend-generated fixtures into snapshots will help?
The fixtures represent the exact output that the backend generates as input to the integration.

I can imagine that we test, in the integration, against fixtures instead of against sets of single asserts.
Is that the idea that Joost has?
