Error on `brew install pkgxdev/made/dev`: `inreplace failed` - `expected replacement of /\/usr\/bin\/env -S pkgx deno.* run/ with "/opt/homebrew/bin/deno run"`

I get an error when running brew install pkgxdev/made/dev. I've done my best to have a clean system to run on, w. previous pkgx and other tools thoroughly removed:

$ which dev
dev not found
$ which pkgm
pkgm not found
$ brew install pkgxdev/made/dev
