Dynamic speed based on aspect ratio

It seems that regardless of the width of the image the scrolls as such to make the image top be perfectly at the top just as the top of the div touches the top of the browser and the bottom touches the bottom of the div just as the bottom touches the bottom of the browser. So if you increase the speed it can actually change the resolution of the image used. For most situations this is perfect I want something just slightly different.
Could there be an option where it figures the speed based on what the speed would be needed to make that happen but keep the aspect ratio of the image being used?

I like the idea of your suggestion. For this feature to be implemented, it has to be guaranteed, that the image is higher than the parallax-window in all possible browser window sizes, otherwise you will not get a parallax effect or the image has to be scaled anyhow.

Thinking a bit more about it, the speed would have to be recalculated with every resize and it could result in very fast speeds when the parallax-window is small in height.

The idea was to also set the ratio of the parallax window using a trick similar to a videoWrapper element so I could keep the wrapper a similar aspect ratio regardless of device viewed on. Let say for instance I have a wrapper at the 16:9 ratio I would need an image that is say 16:10 or greater to make the parallax effect work properly.
