OpenRosary is a simple, beautiful, and easy-to-use app designed to help you pray the Rosary. Whether you're new to this devotion or have been praying it for years, OpenRosary offers a focused and distraction-free experience.
- Minimalist Design: A clean interface that helps you concentrate on your prayers.
- Easy Navigation: Advance through the Rosary beads with simple swipes or by using your device's volume buttons.
- Mystery Selection: Choose from the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or Luminous Mysteries.
- Prayer Tracking: The app keeps track of your progress through the prayers and decades.
- Haptic Feedback: Subtle vibrations guide you through the prayers, distinguishing between different bead types.
- Customizable Themes: Select between a light theme and a dark (AMOLED-friendly) theme for comfortable viewing in any lighting condition.
- Multi-Language Support: Currently supports English and Bahasa Indonesia. Feel free to contribute by adding your own language!
- Choose your Theme and Language: When you first open the app, select your preferred theme and language.
- Select the Mysteries: Tap "Start" and then choose the set of Mysteries you wish to pray (Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or Luminous).
- Pray:
- The current prayer and its title will be displayed.
- Swipe left or press Volume Down to move to the next prayer.
- Swipe right or press Volume Up to go back to the previous prayer.
- The app will guide you through the Sign of the Cross, Apostles' Creed, Our Fathers, Hail Marys, Glory Bes, Fatima Prayer, Hail Holy Queen, and the concluding Rosary prayer.
- Completion: Once you've completed the Rosary, a message will appear. You can then choose to pray another set of Mysteries or exit.
