ApprovabilityVerdict: Not approved Macroscope's review found this PR not approvable — This focused fix replaces a retired Bitbucket permissions endpoint and normalizes repository filters, with tests covering the changed requests and error behavior. Because the result controls repository write permissions and merge-action availability, the authorization impact requires human review. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

to use the normalized workspace and repository slug from repositorySegments()
rather than the raw trimmed input, ensuring values such as “acme / web” produce
the normalized “acme/web” path. Add a test covering whitespace normalization and

CodeRabbit’s finding is fixed in 3a006db, its latest review reports no actionable comments, and the review thread is resolved. Local validation: 189 focused tests, targeted lint, and server typecheck passed. The CI run for this commit is awaiting maintainer approval to execute. Could a maintainer approve it? Macroscope’s earlier approvability note requests human review of the merge-permission change; that remains for a maintainer to assess. |

126-126: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winInclude the repository identifier in the permission error.
This message identifies the operation but not the repository. When one environment serves multiple Bitbucket repositories, operators cannot identify the failed permission lookup. Pass
input.repositoryinto this error detail.Based on learnings, failure messages must include relevant resource identifiers.

Reviewed CodeRabbit's latest review on 7412c08. No correctness findings were reported. I am deferring the optional repository-name diagnostic suggestion: the permission lookup is part of a repository-scoped PR action, and the current message preserves the operation and underlying API error. Adding resource context consistently across provider errors would be a separate diagnostics improvement. CodeRabbit is green on the latest commit. CI is still awaiting maintainer approval: https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/actions/runs/35611022760. Local validation passed: production server/web build, 266 focused tests, server typecheck, targeted lint, and formatting. |

Reviewed the complete diff at f902b53 with Claude Opus 5.5 via Claude Code. Final result: no actionable findings. The reviewer initially flagged permission lookup errors blocking non-merge writes. After checking the base implementation and Atlassian’s endpoint documentation, it withdrew the finding: 403/404 and other lookup failures already propagated before this change; only the retired endpoint’s 410 was recovered. The new API-token endpoint requires repository read scope, not workspace read scope. No permission-policy expansion was added to this focused fix. Local validation on this commit: 262 focused tests, server typecheck, targeted lint, and formatting passed. CodeRabbit is green on this commit and the prior normalization thread is resolved. CI is awaiting maintainer approval to run. Review coordinated by GPT-6-Astra via the Codex harness; independent review by Claude Opus 5.5 via Claude Code. |
…itbucket-workspace-permissions
Bitbucket merges can fail with HTTP 404 before the merge request is sent because the permission check uses the retired
/user/permissions/repositoriesendpoint. The workaround in #6525 only handles HTTP 410.Use
/user/workspaces/{workspace}/permissions/repositories, preserve the normalized full-name filter, and remove the obsolete 410 fallback. Permission decoding and merge gating stay unchanged.Validation: 262 focused tests passed, including endpoint selection, normalized filtering, HTTP errors, permission decoding, and existing merge gating. Server typecheck, targeted lint, and formatting passed. The reporter previously confirmed the endpoint fix in an isolated UI test.
Implemented with GPT-6-Astra using the Codex harness.
