[Bug]: Using the @ syntax to reference files does not respect whitespace #2571

Description

Before submitting

  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

Area

apps/desktop

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a file or folder with a space in the name
  2. Use the @ syntax and start searching for the file
  3. Select file with return key

Expected behavior

The reference should show the full file including spaces, and not just the first word. This also technically causes the agent to get an incomplete reference, which may require using tokens to actually parse the file name. its possible the agent handles spaces well, but not sure.

Actual behavior

Only the first word of the filename will be displayed as a reference, and the rest of the words will be plaintext.
