v0.9.1 release

Hi @philipn - I'm currently churning on changes for a 1.0 release (to coincide with django-filter). In the mean time, there are a couple of fixes that should probably be pushed out as v0.9.1

I had to create a separate 0.9.x branch (see #141) since there were some forwards incompatible changes already merged on master. Could you check out the 0.9.x branch and push things up to pypi? Thanks as always.
