Lines are rendered at the side of electrons #193
Comments
Does this happen on our published production simulation? |
@samreid you bet! Guess I'll remove the phet-io label... |
I didn't see this problem over about 30 seconds on my retina MBP running Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit). Are you on retina? |
Yes, 15-inch retina, mid-2015 model MacBook pro. |
Can you reproduce with |
Doesn't look like it. I've also seen this issue in Expression Exchange and Gravity and Orbits. @jonathanolson feel free to move this issue to where it needs to be since it isn't specific to this sim. |
Happening in CCKDC. phetsims/circuit-construction-kit-common#281 (comment) |
@jonathanolson this is pretty rampant in pendulum-lab. |
Can we see if this is happening in Canary/Beta? Additionally, I'm curious if it is related to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=473182&q=svg%20vertical%20line&colspec=ID%20Pri%20M%20Stars%20ReleaseBlock%20Component%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20OS%20Modified Also, is this device high-dpi (retina?). Maybe be related to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=716174&q=svg%20line&sort=-stars&colspec=ID%20Pri%20M%20Stars%20ReleaseBlock%20Component%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20OS%20Modified&desc=2 |
Yes, this is happening in 64.0.3263.0 canary.
Yup, as said in #193 (comment). |
Un-assigning myself since I no longer work on QA. |
There are mysterious lines that appear to the side of some electrons. So far, I've only seen this on macOS 10.12.3 Chrome (56.0.2924.87 (64-bit)). You can try here http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/html/john-travoltage/1.3.0-phetiorc.1/john-travoltage_en-phetio.html?phetioStandalone
Simply add some electrons to his body and wait (shouldn't take too long):
Assigning to @jonathanolson since this seems up his alley, but assigning @samreid as well if he has ideas. I'll provide whatever info is needed.
For phetsims/tasks/issues/780.
