Installing a new version

To install a new version of Karousel, follow the following steps:

1. Install the desired version of Karousel
   • If you're installing from a .tar.gz file, extract it into ~/.local/share/kwin/scripts/, replacing any existing Karousel installation
2. Restart Kwin
   • Either just log out and log back in
   • Or run one of the following:
     • On Wayland: kwin_wayland --replace
     • On X11: kwin_x11 --replace
