  • this prevents Windows 7 from showing a "Trusted Publisher" dialog

I came across this during testing: while Windows 10 does not show any dialog, Windows 7 still shows a "Trusted Publisher" dialog if the driver is signed with a sha256 certificate and also the option to "Always trust this Publisher" is not working. When using a sha1 certificate the dialog is not shown on Windows 7.
