[General]: Configuring support for “bun x” instead of “npx”

So that when adding to applications, it would replace it with “bun x”

Hi there – I’ve searched the code-base (source, docs and build/CI scripts) for any hard-coded use of “npx” and couldn’t find a single occurrence. The project does not invoke Node tooling directly, so there is nothing that would currently be swapped out for “bun x”.

Unless there is a specific file or command I’ve missed, it looks like support for Bun is already neutral/irrelevant at this time, and no change is needed. If you run across a concrete place where “npx …” is emitted, please share the exact path or reproduction steps and we can take another look.

I meant support in this format:

1. In the mcpm settings, I specify which runtime for js I choose, node or bun
2. When adding an mcp server to an application that will work with it, mcpm substitutes npx for bunx in the json
