Fill selection range

It would be a very nice feature to have the option to fill a selected range with the value in the starting cell of the range. It would also be helpful to have an event model to hook into this. https://github.com/warpech/jquery-handsontable has something like this that is very nice. Have you given any thought implementing something like this?

Do you have any guidelines for contribution? I will be working on this with a colleague the next few weeks. We plan to make this a new widget that will use the selection and edit api provided by the grid.

That's a great and noble idea which is truly appreciable.

Your contribution depends upon quality work backed by good number of test cases.

ParamQuery is also working on this feature which may be added in a pro version.
