hot reload not working on a mac -- something about .git

I have this issue with failure in a watcher thread. And the served file state is somehow very obsolete. Apologies, this is weird. (At the moment cannot check on a different OS, will do in a couple weeks.)

Thanks for the report!

I tried using a Linux and could not reproduce. However, it's not the first time file-watching is causing a problem in Mac: see #156
I have a Mac VM so I'll try to reproduce (and hopefully fix both issues at some point), as soon as possible. Hopefully next week.
