Describe the issue

The Integrations stuck after running for around 24 hours, relaod the integration fixed the issue but only for the 24 hours.

I can confirm this behavior. Are others affected as well? Maybe this is some kind of rate limiting?

Workaround:
Create a automation which reloads the integration every 6 hours

At least for me its working now.
Hope we find a long term solution inside the code

I'm using the Integration with HA 2024.8.3 and it's have no problems.

Unfortunately currently I'm a little bit busy at work and have no time to go deeper into it. I have a newer version with some refactoring and more options prepared, as soon as I have more time, I will try to finish it and look deeper into this error.

I'm encountering the same issue (HA 2024.11.1). The intervals are irregular. Sometimes it's every 24 hours, sometimes it's just a few minutes after reloading the integration:

I am also hit by this. In the debug log there is a lot of websocket stuff while the connection is still working. It starts with WebSocket messages every couple of minutes until we have a PyGruenbeckCloudConnectionError exception and a couple of 500s

Now we have a gap of the data. A couple of minutes later we appear to login again (we are fetching a token again), and we get exactly one more data point in the sensors. But it looks like the websocket connection is not reestablished, after that we regularly see calls to the API, but those WebSocket messages are suspiciously absent

Workaround: Create a automation which reloads the integration every 6 hours

At least for me its working now. Hope we find a long term solution inside the code

Reloading the device_id never worked for me, it just did not do anything without any error message.

What did work for me was doing the same on any sensor entity that is provided by the integration

I really have ZERO experience with all this fancy async code, but it looks like the code is only catching PyGruenbeckCloudConnectionClosedError, PyGruenbeckCloudResponseStatusError and PyGruenbeckCloudError here, while the code is raising PyGruenbeckCloudConnectionError.

@p0l0 is it possible that the exceptions defined in https://github.com/p0l0/pygruenbeck_cloud/blob/main/pygruenbeck_cloud/exceptions.py were actually meant to be an exception hierarchy (with all more specific exceptions being inherited from the generic PyGruenbeckCloudError)? I think catching PyGruenbeckCloudError as fallback would have worked then.
