Command lines entries don't work

Following the book from the beginning, as soon as it gets to the attachments section, the command line entries no longer work and there is not enough clarification as to how to alter them to make them work.

The line regarding replicating the database also does not work.

Given up on book, can't get any further, looking for other resources.
