Description
I think it would be better to break it up into smaller chunks and
build the example application step by step. Start with the minimal
core functionality and than extend it. All that I needed for happiness
was
it took me quite some time to realize that all the other stuff is very
useful, but can be added later.
After the reader had a first success with a custom HTML form, you can explain
- the different callbacks of $.CouchApp
- login and authentication could be more detailed
- then validation
- etc
Instead of a another explanation of JSON documents, which the reader
should already familiar with at that point, I would like to read more
about the couchapp jquery plugin.
This is my experience, others may disagree... :-)

I've read this chapter several times and still don't know how this
works. It's neither a step by step introduction to couchapp's
javascript lib nor an API reference. Some really basic stuff is a
repetition from earlier chapters and the new and important stuff is
hard to understand. It's the worst chapter in the book and it feels you should just trash
it and start from scratch. Don't take it personal, I just have to
compensate for feeling dumber and dumber after reading it again and
again ;-).Good feedback, thanks. Added a note.
