Description
I have just returned to the CouchDB documentation and am working
through it from the beginning. It reads well until you hit this
chapter. Suddenly I'm not sure where the text is going or what it all
means. There are opportunities to teach stuff that are missed - for
instance, what if you make a typo in putting in a design document -
how do you reload the document with curl etc. It might be better to
completely restructure this part of the book. Perhaps do the example
first then dissect it and explain the relevance of what we have just
done.
I think this is an important topic - but I'm not sure I understand
what I should have taken from the chapter. Incidentally, the link to
Christopher Lenz' CouchDB Joins is very helpful.
Don't wish to sound negative - love the book, love the project. Thanks!
