SSDs are pretty sweet because they can append to a file while loading old=
blocks, with a minimum of overhead. As they get faster and cheaper, they=
=92ll be really handy for CouchDB.
Some mention of striping RAID could be nice here, perhaps, since this
should almost always improve performance for any write-heavy scenario.
In addition, maybe mention that doubling the chance of disk failure is
a non-issue when mitigated through replication redundancy.
