seems like project info isn't being kept when search

not sure if this is defined behavior or not. here is the scenario.
you have 5 projects (a,b,c,d,e)
you select all
you do a search for foobar
you get results, you select one of the results (a file that lives in project b)
in that file, you now click on the search box (next to the download link, you don't click the box to search only in that dir)
now the search reverts to searching only in that project (so it undoes the selection where you had all projects selected). then you have to reselect all of them again.

If this IS defined behavior, then I would like to ask for an enhancement, which may have been in another request, that perhaps there can be a checkbox on the main page of opengrok, which will persist what projects you have selected from search to search, and only if you unclick it will it change behavior. Any thoughts. thanks.

Sounds like a bug to me. The project selection should be controlled only by the user.

@vladak @tulinkry I think this is prevented from working by db515e6. It looks like that will always override the cookie value with the file's project.

But I am low on context (have not tried reading OpenGrok code until today). What do you think?

The rationale in #1557 is understandable, seems like better approach is needed - i.e. preserve the list from cookie for search, otherwise try to use getProject().
