This PR introduces the
-H:+PrintTypeStateMemoryFootprintoption to print the estimated memory footprint forTypeStateinstances. It shows how much memory is allocated forTypeStatesduring analysis. This information can be used to compare analysis optimizations andTypeStaterepresentation changes. I have a PR in progres that introduces a more compactMultiTypeStateand this PR provides a micrometric to measure its effects. The memory footprint report introduced in this PR is also generated automatically as a part of
-H:+PrintPointsToStatistics. The new flag-H:+PrintTypeStateMemoryFootprintis introduced because running the full-H:+PrintPointsToStatisticsis resource-intensive, so we want to allow computing just the footprint if the rest is not required.
