feat: PostgreSQL backend behind DATABASE_URL, with no AWS required - #4
Conversation
A deployment that sets DATABASE_URL runs the memories and the counters on PostgreSQL with pgvector: `PgVectorStore` and `PgObjectStore` implement the same two ports the S3 adapters do, so the service, the ranking and the counter compaction are unchanged. The schema is created at boot under an advisory lock; the vector column carries no width, so the dimension is the embedding model's; similarity is 1 - cosine distance, so RECALL_MIN_SIMILARITY keeps its meaning; the key column is collated "C", so the recency index still lists newest-first. Storage is selected by presence: DATABASE_URL means PostgreSQL, otherwise the S3 pair is read as before, and neither is refused by name. The AWS SDKs are loaded lazily in the two S3 adapters and `pg` only through a dynamic import, so each path executes only its own driver; a test reads the sources to keep it that way. The backend's tests run against a real database when TEST_DATABASE_URL is set and skip visibly otherwise; the verify workflow provides one.
📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughAdds PostgreSQL/pgvector storage alongside S3. The change adds backend selection, schema initialization, object and vector stores, startup and shutdown lifecycle handling, lazy SDK loading, integration tests, CI provisioning, and documentation. ChangesStorage backend

Parse all static module declarations.
The pg check misses single-quoted and side-effect imports. Both checks miss one-line re-exports. Use syntax-aware parsing or add coverage for these forms.
