An option to keep the Favorites menu pinned/expanded.
Describe the solution you like
I don't think keeping the menu expanded should be the default behaviour, but I can instead add a hidden "pin" icon to the menu item, that shows when hovered/tapped, and that can toggle the menu from collapsible to permanently expanded, and vice versa.
The question is whether to implement this specifically for Favorites only, or instead add generic code so it is able to applied to any menu item, albeit I would propose initially only enabling it for Favorites. The generic code though would allow easy extensibility.
