OpenStudio SketchUp Plug in Wiki

- Install desired OpenStudio Application version from releases page
- Download desired openstudio.rbz plugin from releases page
- Launch SketchUp desktop client. Navigate to: Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Install Extension -> Browse to openstudio.rbz
- A dialog box will prompt for root path of OpenStudio Application, e.g. 'C:\openstudioapplication-1.6.0'. It should automatically populate if the OpenStudio Application was installed to the default location.
- SketchUp should now load the extension.
- If SketchUp will not launch because of the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in, try removing the OpenStudio settings from your SketchUp Preferences.
- Windows location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\SketchUp\PrivatePreferences.json
- Mac location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2021/SketchUp/PrivatePreferences.json

- SketchUp 2023 for Mac (x86 or M1) is not compatible with the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in, see #133
The OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in v1.0.0 and above may work with SketchUp 2017 and OS 2.9.1. However, this configuration is not tested or supported.
