How to reproduce the issue?

Follow mode flash message has overflow hidden. (ie. try to add a way over another -closed- way and make this new way follow the existing way)

Perhaps flash messages in general do not have overflow and default to overflow: visible?

this might affect all flash messages if they become longer than the available space if the screen is too narrow.

Ideally we would keep the message short enough to fit on any "reasonably large" browser window. For the remaining cases, the footer would probably need to extend in height to fit more than one line of text.
