Remove deprecated items from the spec

During the June 2021 spec meeting, we discussed whether to remove or keep the deprecated features in the specification. Removing depreciated items will simplify code and reduce maintenance effort.

To understand the support straw poll was conducted during the meeting.



• Option 1: Remove depurated items from spec for the next version of the spec
• Option 2: Don’t remove
