Summary

  • add an Intlab-specific Forge GitOps overlay
  • point Forge resolver Jobs and the forge-step Task at the public Quay image
  • keep the management production overlay on the OpenShift internal registry
  • add the Intlab-specific forge-production Application manifest

Why

The Intlab cluster has no OpenShift internal image registry, so the current forge-full resolver and Task image references cannot start there. The Intlab FournosJob uses forge-full; without this overlay it resolves to image-registry.openshift-image-registry.svc:5000/.../forge-core:latest, which does not exist on Intlab.

Validation

  • oc kustomize fournos/gitops/overlays/intlab-production succeeds.
  • Rendered Pipelines use quay.io/rh_perfscale/forge:latest.
  • Rendered forge-step Task uses quay.io/rh_perfscale/forge:latest.
  • Management overlay still renders the internal forge-core image.

Apply fournos/gitops/applications/forge-intlab-production.yaml only in Intlab; do not replace the management Application.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added deployment support for the Intlab production environment.
    • Intlab deployments now use the Forge image hosted in Quay.io, accommodating clusters without an OpenShift internal image registry.
    • Added automated synchronization, pruning, self-healing, and retry handling for Intlab deployments.
  • Documentation

    • Updated deployment guidance, environment references, and repository diagrams for Intlab.
    • Added instructions warning against using the management-cluster deployment configuration on Intlab.
