With the discussions around introduction of Star Tree Index, here at #12498, it would be required to build the star tree during segment flushes using the dimensions and metrics configured by the user using Star Tree Fields, introduced over here, #14605.
Describe the solution you'd like
We would be implementing the core algorithm to construct star tree on heap based on the Star Tree Fields.
