Description
Extensive updates were made in the update from BODS 0.3 -> BODS 0.4 to the conceptual model and to the structure of the data within Statements. This was done with the three-fold aim of:
- Allowing statements to be grouped into declarations (by data users)
- Making it easier to represent and handle changing beneficial ownership data over time
- Separating data about an entity, person or relationship from data about the statement.

People engaging with the updates for BODS 0.4 had a variety of thoughts and ideas around modelling and terminology. Where those ideas remain relevant, this ticket can be used to discuss them.
There are a number of projects that are currently making use of BODS 0.4. This ticket can also be used to share reflections and feedback about how the model feels to work with in practice.
