Mapbox v12 Street display with ol-mapbox-style 12.4, 12.5, and 12.6

We are seeing a series of issues related to the display of fonts when we tested the 12.6 release today.

I am using a v12 mapbox street style. mapbox://styles/dbauszus/cm6hs2100003c01sdclwv2o88

There is no error when I display the same style with the 12.4 library.

Oddly enough... Using the 12.5 plugin throws an error exception and is not displaying the style at all.

This isn't too much of a problem since 12.4 is working well but you may know best what has changed in this regard in the last two point releases.

All test are done against OL 10.5.0, as well as 10.3.1.

I believe the reason being the change from @mapbox/mapbox-gl-style-spec to @mapblibre/maplibre-gl-style-spec

I logged a similar ticket for the maplibregl-mapbox-request-transformer. The main reason why we started using ol-mapbox-style was the support for v12 street styles.

Ok, sounds like this is all about the pitch expression. The reason why this does not work any more is because we switched to the maplibre expression parser. But I have an idea how we can extend on that and add support for parsing missing expressions. Basically a fork of maplibre-gl-style-spec.

@dbauszus-glx Would you mind making the style mapbox://styles/dbauszus/cm6hs2100003c01sdclwv2o88 public so I can use it for testing? The original mapbox-streets-v12 style does not have any "pitch" expressions any more.

I have made the style public now. I thought this was already the case but mapbox must have untoggled this at some point.

Thanks for the test style, @dbauszus-glx. Thanks to @maplibre/maplibre-gl-style-spec's extensibility, the fix was possible without a fork.
