Setup Your Matchstick

iOS Setup Steps

• Install Matchstick App from App Store or download from http://www.matchstick.tv/setup/
• Connect Matchstick dongle to your TV through HDMI port and set your TV display to the same HDMI.
• Open WiFi settings on your IOS device, connect to WiFi with name like “Matchstick XXX”
• Launch the MatchStick App and click “Setup a new matchstick” button
• Click “Next” button when find a new MatchStick
• The Setup process proceed on both TV and Android device. A 4-letter string will appear on the lower right corner of the TV screen. If the string is the same as the code display on Matchstick App.
• Ensure the verification code on your TV is the same as the one on App screen
• Click “Confirm” button to next page.
• Input a name for your matchstick and click “Next” button
• Choose your home WiFi connection in list and input password of the WiFi you chose if it needs a password for connecting
• Click “Setup” button to setup the Matchstick.
• Message “Setup is completed” will display on app screen
• “Ready to fling” will display on your TV screen.
• Change your device WIFI connection same Matchstick WIFI connection.
• Enjoy now!

Android Setup Steps

• Install MatchStick App on your Android mobile device. Download address is http://www.matchstick.tv/setup/
• Connect Matchstick dongle to your TV through HDMI port and set your TV display to the same HDMI.
• Launch the MatchStick App. Choose the Matchstick device from device list with the same name display on TV screen with format of “MatchstickXXXX” .
• A setup screen pops up, showing that a WiFi setting process will start. Click the Setup button to proceed.
• The Setup process proceeds on both TV and Android device. A 4-letter string will appear on the lower right corner of the TV screen. If the string is the same as the code display on Matchstick App, tap on the “I can find the code” button to proceed. Otherwise tap on the “I can not find the code” button and back to first step for choosing correct Matchstick device.
• After clicking “I can find the code” button, input a name for your Matchstick device and click “Set Name” button to go to next page.
• Choose your home WiFi connection in list and input password of the WiFi you chose if it needs a password for connecting
• Click “Setup” button to setup the Matchstick
• A message will pop up, noticing you that the MatchStick device and the Android device as the control unit will be synchronized to the same WiFi you choose. Tab on the OK button to wait for the program to finish up the procedure.
• A Setup completion note shows on the Android device, and message “Ready to Fling” will display on your TV. Click “Complete” button on the App
• Enjoy now!
