- 2020.2 dropping IE11 Support (IS)
The decision was made for developing the new search UI that we would not support IE11 - from 2020.2 onwards only the old UI will support IE11. It will be discussed at the client forum in a couple weeks. Two Edalex clients have requested IE11 support - one rescinded, and the other would be content to use the old UI.
- Bb rest code is now in oEQ
Can now use "Add to external system". There is a slight legal issue between Bb and Unicon over who creates the Rest App Id. August 6th will be the change date to Bb. Some of the older building block links no longer work but that could be a test data issue. The goal moving forward is that once we have this working we will drop support for Building Block. The process would be to update to 2020.2 and update the broken links.
New search UI underway. Looks much more user friendly. Now have type ahead searching. Faceted searching is returning.
